1. Read a preview, without an account
Open a book from the catalogue: the first chapters are free. You give no email address and no bank card to read them.
2. Subscribe to read the rest
A monthly subscription of €39.99 opens the whole catalogue. It renews every month and can be cancelled at any time from the Account page. After cancelling, you keep reading until the end of the period already paid.
Payment is made on our payment provider's secure page. We never see or keep your card number.
3. Read on two devices
Your account reads on one phone and one computer at the same time. It does not read on two phones at once: if you change phone, free the slot from Account and read on the new one.
4. Pick up where you left off
Your position is remembered for every book, even if your subscription stops and starts again. You can set one bookmark per chapter, highlight passages, write notes and search for a word in a book. Your highlights and notes are visible only to you.
5. Protected texts
Books are read on the site, with no download. A discreet mark tied to your account, without your name or address, appears on the reading page. It is there to discourage copying and sharing of the text.
6. Highlighting with the keyboard
With the keyboard, press Tab until you reach the chapter text, then the Up and Down arrows to choose a paragraph. Enter highlights it, Shift and Enter adds a note, Escape leaves. A message at the bottom of the screen tells you which paragraph is chosen.
